Book Club

Welcome to the PRC bookclub. The bookclub meetings are held the 3rd Week of each month. This page has been set up as a reference for club members.


The meeting place is the Mi Ranchito restaurant on Manorhaven Blvd, in Port Washington, at 7:30pm, unless otherwise noted.

Below is the schedule for the Spring. Note that February's meeting will take place on the 24th, due to vacation. Also, April's meeting will be at my house, and will include a screening of the film version of "Sense and Sensibility" along with the discussion.

April 21st: Born Round by Frank Bruni
May 19th: Let the Great World Spin by Colum McCann
June 16th: Half the Sky by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn

We will meet at Mi Ranchito restaurant on Manorhaven Blvd. at 7:30 pm.

One exception: the March meeting will take place at Marlene's home to watch the film version of Sense and Sensibility. Please note on the listing for the March title that the meeting will be at an alternate location for a film screening. Details on location will be emailed to group members.
