co-presidents' letter
Dear Members, We are especially proud to have played a role in our past two Spring Galas because they both celebrated people who have been integral to the PRC's mission. Our 25th Anniversary gala, "A Night in Casablanca," paid tribute to our founder, Lynn Randolph, and subsequent PRC presidents. It was our way of saying thank you and reflecting on how each woman contributed to the PRC's evolution as a non-profit cooperative. This past April we honored the multi-talented singer-songwriter, Jeff Sorg, at our "Night in the Piazza" event. A PRC supporter for the last ten years, Jeff has entertained children and their parents with his songs and storytelling. Jeff's warm and down-to-earth styleand his dedication to the children of our communityexemplify the PRC spirit. When we think back on our tenure as co-presidents, what comes to mind first and foremost are the extraordinary efforts of so many others. We would like to thank the board members and volunteers for their cooperation, commitment and many hours of hard work. Of course, we must also thank the fabulous staff of the PRC Barbara, Dora, Ana, Gladys, Yanira, Helen and Arielfor everything they do to make the PRC the warm and welcoming place that it is. And we would be remiss if we did not thank our immediate past Executive Director, Julie Harnick, for her many years of outstanding and dedicated service to the PRC. We would also like to welcome our new Executive Director, Sandy Ehrlich. Lastly, we want to thank our husbands and families, Tim, Timothy and Sean Serignese and Jim, Shannon, Julia and Cooper Russo for the tremendous support they have given us and the PRC. The past two years have been personally rewarding for both of us. We are proud of our work, but the job is not finished. We pass the baton to the next presidents. See you at the 50th Anniversary Gala, President's Letter Archive
