Please read the following carefully as our policy has changed this semester. To ensure that all members are treated equitably, we strictly enforce these rules:
You must be a PRC member to register for classes. See below for the full range of Membership options avaiable.
With our $350 lifetime membership, you get all of the benefits of annual membership without paying our $85 annual fee. Plus, you will receive a PRC t-shirt, a $25 drop-off childcare coupon and a family pass to one Sundown Series or Winter Concert event of your choice. Please note that the lifetime membership is non-retroactive, non-refundable and non-transferable.
Available for $85 during our Fall Registration. This is our standard membership rate. It entitles you to full participation in PRC programs from September until August. This is a 15% discount from the cost of single semester membership.
Not ready to join for a full year of membership? Join as a single semester member for $50. This membership level includes full participation in PRC programs until the end of the semester, including vacation workshops during the January/February intersession. Spring semester membership fees will be $50 as well. Summer membership fee will be $20.
Are your children in school and no longer taking classes at the PRC? If you would like to continue to support this wonderful organization, receive our newsletters and invitations to events and take adult classes with us, consider becoming a sustaining member for only $30 per year.
PRC members are encouraged to volunteer at least 5 hours a year. If you are unable to volunteer, you can pay an annual fee of $75, in addition to your membership fee and class fees, in lieu of volunteering. Lifetime members whose children are not in classes and sustaining members do not have this volunteer requirement.
Member registration is on a first-come, first-served basis beginning every August, January and June for each semester. Checks should be made payable to the Parent Resource Center. MasterCard or VISA is also accepted. Trial classes are permitted; call the office for details.
In the event of a teacher absence, the PRC will attempt to find a substitute. Otherwise, the class will be cancelled and session length extended. Participants will be notified of cancellation by phone. If a class is cancelled, members can still come to the PRC for drop-in free play during the scheduled class time. If a class cannot complete the session length, refunds will be issued at the end of the semester.
Class fees are non-refundable. There are no refunds for missed classes. Makeups are possible, call the office for details. Refunds can be done
1) If requested before the first class 2) the PRC cancels a class due to insufficient registration 3) the teacher determines that the class is inappropriate for your child. If a class is unable to complete its full run due to weather, holidays or teacher illness, refunds will be issued at the end of the semester.
