of the PRC's Friday night childcare. The fee is $5 per child per

you make your reservation after Wednesday at 5pm.
If you have taken a class at the Parent Resource Center, participated
in one of our special events, or taken advantage of our drop-in
or drop-off programs, chances are you've gotten to know our beloved
caregivers, Barbara Skinner, Dora
Castillo, Gladys Godoy,
and Ana Quintanilla-Barrera.
Barbara has been with the PRC since its founding in 1980, and
Dora since 1994. Ana came to the PRC in 1999 and Gladys has been
with us since 2000. All four have a wealth of experience in working
with children and all four are CPR-trained and certified. But the
best thing about Barbara, Dora, Ana, and Gladys is their caring
approach to childcare. They strive to get to know your children
as individuals with special needs and interests. When you pick
up your children after drop-off or a class, you may find Barbara
taking a cranky child for a walk in the stroller, Dora on the floor
reading to a child or helping her with the toys, Ana coaxing a
finicky child to eat some lunch, or Gladys soothing a baby to sleep.
You may also find them reading a story to a group of children,
singing songs, or doing a craft. This personal and attentive approach
eases the process of separation for your children and you, and
makes your activities at the PRC as fun and rewarding as they should
be.
We feel lucky to have such wonderful
childcare at the PRC. Barbara,
Dora, Ana, and Gladys play an integral role in making the PRC a
warm and nurturing place for the kids and a comfortable and supportive
place for you. There is a reason that the kids love Barbara, Dora,
Ana and Gladys—They love the kids!
